QUALITY ASSURANCE AND SAFETY(HSE)
SUMI Global Ventures Limited operates an internal and external quality and safety system in accordance with the latest requirements as stipulated in ISO 9001:2000 series Quality Management System and ISO 14000:1996 series Environment Management Systems (EMS).
In line with the official issues of ISO 9001:2000 series, SUMI Global Ventures Limited commenced a transition programme of the quality management system towards the new standard of integration. This has direct effect on the system since the standard is based on the eight-quality management principle:
1. Customer-focused organization. We depend on our customers and therefore, should understand current and future customer needs, meet customer requirements and strive to exceed customer expectations.
2. Inclusive Leadership. Our Leadership strides establish unity of purpose and direction of the organization. SUMI Global Ventures Limited management team creates and maintains the internal project environment in which team members can become fully involved in achieving the organization's objectives.
3. Involvement of people. We believe that people at all levels are the essence of an organization, and their full involvement to enable their abilities to be used for the organization's benefit is of utmost important.
4. Process approach. A desired result is achieved more efficiently when related resources and activities are managed as a process.
5. System approach to management. Identifying, understanding, and managing a system of interrelated processes for a given improvement of the organization's effectiveness and efficiency.
6. Continual learning improvement. Continual improvement forms part of the organizations culture.
7. Factual approach to decision-making. Effective decisions are based on the analysis of data and information.
